Pecan Pie
Instructions:
Start by melting the sticks of butter in a pan.
Once the butter has melted, both of the sugars, flour, salt, vanilla, milk, and corn syrup.
As soon as the mixture comes to a boil, remove from the heat and cool for 5 minutes.
Once cooled, slowly whisk in the beaten eggs.
Using store bought or homemade pie dough, add about a cup of pecans to the bottom of the pie crust.
Then pour pour over half of the sugar mixture, about 1 ½ cups.
This recipe makes two 8 inch pies, or one 10 inch deep dish pie.
Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown on top. This will take around 30 to 40 minutes.
