Papri Chaat Latkes
Instructions:
Add a bag of frozen hashbrowns to a mixing bowl.
Then add an egg, salt, and black pepper to the bowl, and mix until the potatoes are evenly coated in the egg and flour.
Use a cookie scoop to form the potatoes into round balls, and then flatten into ½ inch rounds.
On medium to high heat, add oil to a skillet, and put your flattened potatoes on the skillet.
Cook for a few minutes on each side until golden brown and the potato is cooked through.
Transfer to a plated lined with paper towels to soak up any excess oil.
Rinse and drain a can of garbanzo beans and add them to a mixing bowl.
Add tomatoes, onions, green chillies, and chaat masala to the mixing bowl, and mix together.
When the potatoes have cooled slightly, add a dollop of plain yogurt on each one, drizzle some cilantro chutney, top with the garbanzo beans mixture, and finish with a drizzle of tamarind chutney.
