Kiss Cookies


Ingredients:

  • ½ cup butter

  • ⅔ cup sugar

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 2 tbsp milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 cup all purpose flour

  • 6 tbsp cocoa powder 

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ½ cup sprinkles

  • hershey’s kiss chocolate (any flavor)


     


Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until it’s smooth. This usually takes a minute.

  3. Add sugar, and beat for around 2 minutes until fluffy.

  4. Then add the egg yolk, milk, and vanilla, and beat until combined.

  5. Add the dry ingredients; flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

  6. Mix until everything is just combined, making sure not to overmix the dough.

  7. Form the dough into tablespoon-sized balls.

  8. Add the sprinkles to a bowl, and coat the dough with the sprinkles.

  9. Place dough ball 2 inches apart on the cookie sheet.

  10. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.

  11. As soon as the cookies are out of the oven, gently press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of the cookie.

  12. Let the cookies cool completely before serving.
