Chocolate Cocoa Bombs
Instructions:
Add chocolate chips to a small bowl and heat and stir at 30 second intervals in the microwave until the chocolate is completely melted.
In a silicone mold of your choice, evenly spread the chocolate inside the mold making sure there are no gaps. Once filled, place them in the freezer for 5-10 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
Remove from the freezer and gently remove the hardened chocolate by inverting the mold.
Add filling of your choice inside the molds, such as marshmallows and crushed candy canes.
Add 2 tbsp of hot cocoa mix to each mold.
To seal the bombs add boiling water to a plate. Let it sit for one minute and then remove the water and dry the plate. Gently trace the unfilled lid of the chocolate bomb on the hot plate and attach to the bottom piece.
Let the seams on the chocolate bomb harden.
Decorate with drizzled white chocolate and use the crushed candy cane as garnish.
To enjoy, add one chocolate bomb to your favorite mug and pour hot milk over the top.
