Kebabs in a Blanket
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, add ground meat, onion, cilantro, chilies, and spices. Mix together until fully combined, but do not over mix.
Take about 1 tbsp of the meat mixture and form into small kebabs in the shape of logs.
Place the kebabs in the freezer for 10-15 minutes so they firm up a bit.
Cut puff pastry or frozen parathas into 1 inch strips. The length of each strip should be roughly 3 inches so you can wrap them around the kebabs once.
Remove the kebabs from the freezer and wrap the center of each one in the dough.
Place the kebabs on a parchment-lined baking sheet with the seam of the dough facing down. Brush the tops with a beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or any other seasoning you like.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes until the pastry in light golden brown. You can also broil for the last minute to get the tops darker if you’d like.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
