Chai Spiced Chocolate Lava Cakes for Two
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, add egg, egg yolk, vanilla, and sugar.
Whisk together until light and frothy.
In a small bowl, combine chocolate chips and butter. Microwave at 10 second intervals and mix after each one until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
Slowly whisk together the chocolate mixture with the egg mixture.
Add flour and spiced cocoa powder. Mix until just combined.
Coat 2 ramekins in melted butter and sugar. Pour the cake batter evenly into both ramekins.
Bake at 425 degrees for 12-13 minutes.
Remove from the oven, rest for a few minutes, then slide a butter knife around the edges of the pan to loosen the cake.
Flip over onto a plate, and sprinkle with powdered sugar or serve with ice cream/whipped cream.
