Chapli Kebab Tacos
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 serrano chili, finely diced
1 tbsp minced ginger
1 cup chopped cilantro
2 bunches green onions, thinly sliced
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp red chili flakes
2 tbsp coriander seeds, lightly ground
tortillas
oil, for frying
sliced onions and chilies
cilantro chutney
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the kebabs and mix well.
Add a layer of the kebab mixture (about 1/4 inch) evenly to one side of the tortillas, leaving only about a 1/2 inch around the edges.
Add a small amount of oil to your pan and heat on medium high heat. When the pan is hot, lay the tortilla meat-side down in the pan and let it cook undisturbed for a couple minutes .
When the meat is golden brown (takes about 2-3 minutes), flip the tortilla and let it crisp up on the other side.
Remove from the heat and top with sliced onions, chilies, and cilantro chutney.
