Spicy Garlic Noodles
Instructions:
Cook the noodles as instructed on the package with one minute less than directed and save 1 cup of pasta water.
To a skillet on medium low heat, add the olive oil and garlic.
Saute the garlic until it crisps and turns a light brown color. Then remove the garlic from the pan and set aside. This will leave behind a garlic infused oil in the pan.
To the garlic oil, add the shallot and once the shallot softens add chili paste.
Let the chili cook for 30 seconds and then add soy sauce and oyster sauce.
Let this cook for about 1 minute and then add cream, the reserved pasta water and butter.
Add in your noodles and continue cooking them in the sauce.
Finish the pasta by adding the crispy garlic that was set aside.
