My Go-To Mediterranean Seasoning


Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp za’atar

  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp sumac

  • 1 tsp salt (or per your preference)


Instructions:

  1. Mix za’atar, smoked paprika, sumac, garlic powder, and salt (add as little or as much as you would like) together in a mixing bowl.

  2. Store the seasoning in a sealed jar or canister at room temperature.

To Use:

This seasoning is excellent on chicken or seafood. Simply drizzle your meat with olive oil, then generously sprinkle on the seasoning. If you add a small amount of salt in the original seasoning like I do, you can add more at this stage. Toss together/rub in the seasoning to make sure it evenly coats the meat and let marinate for as long as you can. Then simply saute, air fry, roast, or grill the meat however you’d like.
