In N Out Smashburger Tacos


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 onion, finely diced

  • corn tortillas

  • american cheese

  • shredded lettuce

  • salt and pepper, to taste

  • oil

Sauce

  • 4 tbsp mayo

  • 2 tbsp ketchup

  • 2 tsbp relish

  • 1 tsp mustard

  • 1 tsp vinegar

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1/4 tsp salt


Instructions:

  1. Evenly spread about 2 tbsp of ground beef on one side of each corn tortilla - make sure its a thin layer. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. In a skillet, saute the diced onions until light brown, then remove from the heat and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, cook the tortillas, beef side down first, on medium high heat for 1-2 minutes. Press down while they cook to prevent the tortillas from curling up.

  4. Flip the tortillas and top the beef with a slice of american cheese. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the tortilla is crispy on the other side and the cheese has melted.

  5. In a small bowl, mix together all of the sauce ingredients.

  6. To assemble the tacos, top each one with sautéed onion, shredded lettuce, and the sauce. Serve immediately.
