Double Chocolate Halloween Cookies
Ingredients
1/4 cup salted butter, melted
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 large egg
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup dutch-process cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
melted white chocolate for decorating
chocolate chips for decorating
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325.
Whisk together melted butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until well combined. Add egg and vanilla and mix.
Add all of the dry ingredients to the bowl and mix until it just comes together, making sure not to over mix. Then fold in the chocolate chips.
Divide the dough into 16 small cookies, or 8 larger cookies (about 2 oz each). Bake 7-8 minutes for small cookies, or 10-12 minutes for larger cookies until the edges just start to brown.
Decorate with melted chocolate and chocolate chips.
