Grandma Bread


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 tsp yeast

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 cup warm water

  • 1 cup marinara sauce

  • olive oil


     


Instructions:

  1. Mix together flour, yeast, water, and salt until it comes together.

  2. Place in an oiled bowl and cover with a damp towel.

  3. Let it rise until doubled, at least one hour.

  4. Transfer to an 8x8 baking dish that is well oiled.

  5. Let it rise another hour. Then dimple the dough with your fingers.

  6. Drizzle the top with olive oil and spoon over the marinara sauce.

  7. Bake at 450 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

  8. Remove from oven when golden brown, and cut into slices.
