Barfi Truffles
Instructions:
To a nonstick pan, add butter, milk, and milk powder.
On low heat, mix everything together making sure there are no lumps. Keep mixing for about 10 minutes until you get a thick paste-like consistency, making to sure the mild doesn’t burn.
Add the sugar and ground cardamom. Once you add the sugar, the mixture will thin out, keep cooking until it thickens again and starts pulling away from the sides of the pan and then remove from heat and let cool completely.
Once the barfi has cooled, it will be sturdy enough to form into small balls.
After forming the barfi into balls freese the barfi for about 10 minutes.
Melt the white chocolate in the microwave at 15 second intervals, mixing it as you go.
Once the chocolate has completely melted, use a toothpick to dip the barfi in the chocolate and let the excess drip away then place on parchment paper to dry.
Sprinkle the top with crushed pistachios and dried rose petals while the chocolate is still wet.
Once the truffle is completely dry, place the truffle in a mini cupcake liner.
